What did the NY Times editors know about this offer?

This is not to say that any of those people have anything to do with Epstein. It's just to say that his strategy was to buy associations with people and institutions that have a strong incentive to bury scandal. Whether or not they do actively bury scandal is another matter.

He gave so much money to Interlochen Fine Arts Camp in Northern Michigan that he had his own building. The camp is supposed to be quite wonderful. It helped produce Josh Groban, Ed Helms, Felicity Huffman, Norah Jones, Jewel, Chappell Roan, OK GO, and many, many more.
