My story on Elon Musk cutting safeguards at xAI is on the front page of today's @washingtonpost.com. I’m also among 100’s of reporters laid off. I absolutely loved my job my brilliant coworkers & the thrill of reporting @ the center of forces upending the world: AI & Silicon Valley’s political power

Beyond the fact that this bugfuck insane letter was written and sent to the leader of Norway, the State Dept agreeing to distribute it to other heads of state instead of objecting and honorably resigning or at the very least planning some kind of coverup is a sign of deep institutional collapse.
So this is why Trump is fixated on Greenland. Vengeance strikes again. This guy is dangerous.

Congratulations, those of you who decided to platform fringe voices and create a climate of fear and hate out of ignorance because those voices insisted a non-problem was a problem. They're now on an HHS stage trying to ruin children's lives. You will live with the harm you have done forever.

Trump's attacks against the Somali community are racist, vile, & predictable.

As prices rise & his popularity plummets, Trump is resorting to hate and division — hoping he can get you to blame your neighbors, so you'll forget about his failures.

Don't drink his poison.
Trump describes Somali immigrants as 'garbage' amid feud with Minnesota congresswoman, governor
President Donald Trump said of Somali immigrants on Tuesday that he doesn't "want them in our country."

Yeesh. Look at the thousands of kids who died before vaccines were available: 1,822 deaths from diptheria; >4,000 from pertussis (whooping cough); 400 from measles; 3,292 from polio; 472 from tetanus; 24 from rubella.

Is this what we're going back to?

The Trump Admin will fire you for having a Pride flag on your desk but downplays & normalizes swastikas & nooses?

Over 400,000 Americans died fighting Nazism. Hundreds of thousands died fighting slavery & Jim Crow.

This is a slap in the face to every American who died to defeat bigoted ideologies.
U.S. Coast Guard will no longer classify swastikas, nooses as hate symbols
The military service, which falls under the Department of Homeland Security, has drafted a new policy that classifies such items “potentially divisive.”

You think Dem voters would have turned out in the numbers, and with the enthusiasm, they did JUST FIVE DAYS AGO if they thought the party was going cave like this? Jesus

The factional grifters will hate this, but the Mamdani-Spanberger-Sherrill axis actually suggests the outlines of a broad, emerging Dem coalition organized around both anti-Trump *and* affordability politics, not a party bitterly divided against itself.
These big wins will embolden Dems to take on Trump's lawbreaking and show there's a price for GOP enabling of him. Folks hate to hear this, but normal patterns are asserting themselves: Liberalism isn't dead, Rs are likely to lose in 2026, and Trump is really unpopular, not a magical exception.

This is unbelievable. How can business accept the crony capitalism that Trump has made the guiding principle of his regime?
Critical part of the President's new $100,000 charge for H1-B visas: The Administration can also offer a $100,000 discount to any person, company, or industry that it wants. Replacing rules with arbitrary discretion.

Want visas? You know who to call and who to flatter.
