Seeing Apple Store (web) using Svelte is honestly rad.

Well, this new Google "nano banana" image generator sure is something. It's capable of easily editing the contents of photos with remarkably accurate and stable results

For instance, in the following pair of images: "Add a line of people, including a mascot"

This is very much in line with what I've found to be effective—avoiding agentic work and using a great model (like Gemini 2.5) as more of a pair programming partner. It's really helped me get rid of roadblocks that would impede my solo progress.

@steampowered.com this is a bit odd—it looks like Cyberpunk somehow launched on macos without the files

Damn, they really optimized Cyberpunk 2077 for MacOS

I'm in complete agreement. Go see Kpop Demon Hunters if you have any interest in Korea or good animation
If no one in your life has told you to watch Kpop Demon Hunters yet, let me be the one. Go watch it (on Netflix, alas). It’s beautiful and funny and sweet and will make you feel good. I’m on my third rewatch and can’t stop listening to the soundtrack. It slaps.

I love every tiny improvement like this. Lowering the number of assets needed for a "complete" site is lovely.
One of my favourite announcements from WWDC is the SVG favicon support in Safari. This is now supported in all major browsers.

Huge thanks to @evilmartians.com for publishing the "How to Favicon" guide year by year. This series of posts has helped me a lot.

Now this mess is finally over 🎉

TIL you can make self-encapsulated animations in SVG files, and that they'll play in GitHub's repo readme view. The work out of @pmnd.rs is always inspiring, even in little details like this.

Literally begging you to post about Just Some Stuff. We will see the news I absolutely promise. Twenty people will repost the same exact thing about the news. Only you can post about a turtle you saw
i don't mean to come off as rude but we cannot sustain ourselves on outrage and anger forever. i think it's even more important now to post about other things too. even if it gets less engagement. you never know who will find it cool and interesting.
It’s a real mindfuck when most ppl wanna post about their latest failures/successes, or weird shit they saw in the wild or cool stuff they made…but the country is a cesspool so cool/weird shit seems trite.

I find it amusing that with the rise of AI coding agents comes a lot of "documentation" through things like `agents.md` files, `llms.txt` URLs, and MCP servers. I can only hope that these improvements in documentation trickle down to the docs meant for human developers...

If you want to try out Svelte remote functions I made an example repo with the async and RPC branch until the PR is out. 🔥

I left comments and you can also learn how simple progressive enhancement is with optimistic UI updates.

Director Han Ji-Won knocked it out of the park with Lost in Starlight (이별에필요한). It's a laser-focused shot at grounded space scifi nerds with a heart ❤️.

This one really puts Korean animation on the map!

New Subak Game update!

- Adds a screenshot of your last moments to the score screen
- Uses a more correct aspect ratio at "low" screen aspect ratios (better on mobile!)
- fixes the transparency effect behind modals

CSS is always subtly humbling... despite writing it for over 20 years, there are still features I don't even know about. For instance, @media breakpoints based on aspect-ratio...
