Time magazine quotes Canadian satirical website The Beaverton
A recent Time magazine article used a quote from Canadian satire site, the Beaverton, as a fact in reference to U.S. relationships with other countries.

Great watch re: #Chinatown/#Strathcona past, present and future. "History isn’t confined to a museum; it actually happened on those very streets. Where the city’s biggest challenges aren’t just news stories, they’re right outside the front door." #vanpoli #vancouver globalnews.ca/news/1153599...

Uhhh I put my recycling bin out this morning around 8 a.m., just went out to get it (10:40 a.m.) and found this bike chain thing on top of it. Does anyone know what it is? A homemade weapon? 😬😬😬 #vanpoli #strathcona #vancouver

Hey, as a librarian I have to tell you

You don't have to finish a book that doesn't interest you. Life's too short for that. Not your jam? You have my permission to move on to the next book.

My best friend is from Wisconsin and the state motto is "Forward." I like it. Simple. Direct. Clear.

Ours in BC?? "Splendour without diminishment" Like really?? It means absolutely nothing. We need a better motto. cc:@jmcelroy.bsky.social please help. Only you can do it.

Here's how "Project Barrage" affected life here. Spillover effect. Neighbours are const. being robbed, kids' fairy garden door (2 yrs) stolen (lame, but who steals from children?!), trailer broken into w. drugs, neighbours are tired. Super helpful #Strathcona.

Pretty grateful to live in #Strathcona these days. From delicious meals to snow shovelling to dog walks, my friends/neighbours have stepped up and helped❤️ Finally got in for elbow surgery the other day - they had to re-break a bunch of bones but en route to healing. #vancouver

Peeps, I'm so grumpy right now. I shattered my elbow, and I've had to wait 3 wks to get surgery (maybe next week!), bumped twice, so, so long they have to re-break my bones. "This will affect your future mobility," quote from doctor. #bcpoli. I love Canadian healthcare but this is not it.
