Why are people so obsessed with Mamdani's age?

He'll be 34 by the general election.

Jon Ossoff was 33 when he was elected to the United States Senate.

You can run for *President* at 35.

It's an attempt to undermine his policies as "naive" because they demand fairness and justice.

Abraham Lincoln, who was not president at the time of the Dred Scott ruling, obviously did not do this. He didn’t even *advocate* ignoring the outcome the way the Trump administration is doing.

He advocated treating it as only binding on the particular parties.

ARTAU: I mean, Abraham Lincoln did that with the Dred Scott case

Not to focus on the obvious. But if it's important to end Iran's nuclear program, and if the effort in fact failed and the Hegseth is lying about it, the patriotic thing to do (setting aside the journalistic thing to do) is probably to make clear that it failed.
instead of doing critical coverage, Hegseth urges reporters to "Wave an American flag. Be proud of what we accomplished."
