Chihuahuas are sacred to the Mexica. Dogs were here long before white ppl. Dogs are essential to a Native community’s way of life. To the Inupiaq, dogs are imperative for travel, protection, & hunting. Now, shelters are past capacity because of Trump’s racist removal of Native families.
