I have too many soft girlies posting about spiced tea and cozy sweaters on my discover page. I need disgruntled thirty-somethings complaining about how their nicotine patches itch to balance it out.
I have gone through half of a jar of lingonberry preserves in two days. Those are slacker numbers. I am ashamed.

The Creature is fascinated whenever I squeak one of his toys and attempts to do so himself, but he is so gentle with the toys that he cannot make a sound. This confuses and upsets him.

I’m house training the new creature (he’s doing well!) and one thing I did was hang a string of bells on the door so he can nudge them to let me know he has to go.

Somehow, despite having pets my whole life, I never knew that “communal cremation” was a thing. When the vet asked me if I wanted to do that my brain glitched like YOU JUST THROW THEM ALL IN A PILE AND BURN THEM?!?!

Dog was sitting at an odd angle and I saw a dark spot under her fur near her leg. She’s been biting back there recently so I wanted to make sure it wasn’t blood/scabbing.
Me: “What have we got here”
*reaches over to move her fur out of the way so I can see*
“Oh! That’s just your butthole…”
