Book 8 of 2025: you guessed it: Another Freida McFadden! Do Not Disturb was SO good!! I love when the action starts right away and doesn’t slow down! And, obviously, the twists. Definitely recommend.

Finally got out of my reading slump & finished Book 7 of 2025. Of course it was another Freida McFadden. “The Tenant” - I never get tired of reading a Freida plot twist. I love the little details throughout the stories that ALWAYS add up in the end. Can’t share too much without spoiling. Liked it!

You can’t see me bc I’m holding a flag but guys I live in a 2k person extremely rural town in one of the reddest counties of WI. So many people showed up there was a line all the way to the highway.

I often feel a bit afraid due to my identity in this area but #nokings brought out so many

Realized I accidentally forgot to update for about a month.

Book 5 of ‘25: The Coworker, by Freida McFadden. Liked the character development, REALLy liked the plot twists. Probably #3 favorite of hers.

Book 6 of ‘25: Iron Flame, by Rebecca Yarros. Tairn is my favorite character.

Book 4 of 2025: The Locked Door, by Freida McFadden.

LOVED this!! One of my favorites of hers! Had I not spoiled it for myself (still IRATE about that), I would have never seen the ending coming. Such a page turner!

Book 3 of 2025: Fourth Wing.

Thank gods I have Iron Flame on my shelf waiting for me right now. I did NOT see the ending coming and cannot wait to see what comes next!

Dear Amazon,

Hear me out: you’d probably sell more Kindles if more library apps were compatible with them, beyond Libby. It would be great if I could use Hoopla and Boundless with my Kindle, too. Just saying.

One thing before tomorrow:

Use your local libraries.

Get your card.

Borrow books, manga, films, audios, ebooks.

Recommend titles for purchase (usually online).

Attend promoted activities.

Fill out those "How are we doing?" questionnaires.

Tell your kids that libraries are good.

They are.

I wish my little city had more indie bookstores. I love me a Barnes & Noble, and I’m grateful to have one, but there’s just something about the Indie stores that hit different.
