No kings isn't about directly fomenting change. It is about showing support for future direct action, that anti-trump is the normal majority position, and to show it in a way complicit media can't ignore or spin.

For those not aware: an FFL can deny a firearms transfer if the buyer's invoice and/or credit card doesn’t match their government-issued ID. This can throw a wrench in firearms purchases for folks who may be in the middle of a name change or haven't updated all of their documentation yet.

Because bigots won't hold them accountable and they feel like they can push whatever policy they please. The rational thought crowd participates in democracy, and will push lawmakers toward the will of the people.
Can someone please explain why it is that too many politicians only seem to want the votes of the prejudiced and the ignorant? To the extent that they are actively repelling anyone capable of rational thought and decency. Why the pathetic need to appease the bigot vote, at everyone else’s expense?
