You have to take photos of your friends, on cameras not phones, and print them out and put them places where you can see them, framed or unframed, doesn't matter, it is important that images of your friends don't just live in your phone

For Halloween, I did a double feature of The Vourdalak and Lovely, Dark and Deep, the linking thread of family and the forest 🍃 I liked the fairytale quality of The Vourdalak, with it's puppetry and the way Sdenka's jewelery made her movements sound like bells in the wind

I know I've been on Your Party a lot this weekend but I feel like I need to explain why they as a party (and their reply guys) upset me, as an individual, and why I feel they are set up for failure on trans rights. Buckle up cuz this is gonna be a thread.

After the British museum theft and now the Louvre heist, the premise of Euro-custodianship of global south heritage is more than debatable. Return the possessions to their community custodians.
Much like colonizing museums claim about African artifacts held in European and American collections, if the Louvre cannot properly take care of its possessions, perhaps another nation can. I heard the Benin Royal Museum in Nigeria may have a space.

Got my stitches out today, but will likely still refer to it as hashtag my wound to my partner to be annoying
Being awake for minor surgery means you get to chat with the doctor and observing medical student, learning things such as they practise stitches on mannequins these days and that your doctor has beef with dentists because he thinks they don't anesthetise people properly
