And it starts early! It starts with state ed boards and legislatures trying to eliminate the teaching of actual critical thinking skills
This is why those who read actual books are more protected.

Yeah, I said it.

Our society has been primed for this attack. Push people to have lower attention spans, read less, watch more tv/movies because less effort, less active, over work them, no time to think on their own. Easier to control.

Like a lot of things I think the "masculinity crisis" is just a result of people having their role in violence pointed out to them and then deciding to change nothing about themselves and instead blame the people pointing it out. They don't want purpose or validation; they yearn for ignorance.

We all talk about the trauma of the pandemic as the result of “lockdowns” and public health restrictions.

But, for a lot of people, the deepest hurt came from societal abandonment.

Just going to force every single Lib lawyer and politico account on this site to watch this short Chris Hedges clip A Clockwork Orange style until they understand that whether Marx was correct is no longer fucking debatable.
Hedges absolutely killed with this opening.

Short. Sweet. Correct.

There are only three genres of book now
1: The Woke Are At It Again
2: I'm A Bisexual Woman With Feelings
3: I Found A Wombat That Helped Me Grieve My Father
I have never see a book rendered so irrelevant this many months before its release date

It's almost like the police are the violent ones
I asked the one high ranking policeman I saw on 5th Ave why there were so few police. He said “We did not expect anything like this. Don’t tell anyone but I’ve only got 44 officers out here — and it’s a great crowd, great event, no incidents.”
I have never seen anything like this in NYC. 5th Ave covered from 42nd St well to the 20s. Nobody prepared for this volume. Volunteers are holding the traffic on all the side streets. No police in sight. #handsoff

it worries me when the narrative about trump is that “it’s dumbasses that don’t know what they’re doing”. they know exactly what they’re doing. peter thiel is a close ally of trump and owns JD vance. peter thiel is a believer in curtis yarvin thought, which is 100% in line with what’s happening

GC "feminism" is right-wing women treating sex as a protection racket, who feel their womanhood is sullied by the presence of 'undesirables' but are otherwise fully invested in and gleefully reinforce patriarchal ideals.
The "feminists" on Mumsnet are pleased Trump is shutting down Planned Parenthood even if means women die.
