Last month, Congress voted to end public media’s federal funding. Now, local stations across the country are at risk of going dark.

That’s why we built adoptastation.org — a simple way to support a station in need.

Adopt one. Spread the word. Save public media.

History repeats and repeats. Thousands of African Americans were convinced to put their savings in the Freedman's Bank. Then white board members stole the money or lost it, Blacks lost everything they had, still have not recovered full trust in the banking system.
Honestly this IRS handing over the lists to the secret police thing is the worst bit that's come out thus far.

So many people are going to get hurt, and will have good reason to never trust the state for generations.

I don’t need NOAA, there are weather apps on my phone.

I don’t need the EPA, there’s clean water coming out of my faucet.

People take for granted how much of what we have is because of strong government agencies that have made it their mission.

So I’m a literal rocket scientist (specifically, GN&C, which means we do most of the math). The little I know about airplanes comes from studying for a private pilot exam (I didn’t finish). Trust me, you don’t want a rocket scientist running the FAA anymore than you’d want a neuroscientist doing it.
He is firing FAA workers by the hundreds and he knows he is going to end up killing a lot of people so we get this tweet and that covers everything apparently
