I honestly never thought that part of my career as a political scientist would be convincing people in the U.S. that their democracy is not yet dead.

SHARE WIDELY.
KNOW YOUR RIGHTS.

With mass deportations starting today across the country, it is vitally important - for both citizens and non-citizens - to know your rights.

You have the right to remain silent. Assert it. You have the right to a lawyer. Ask for one.

In 2020, it became apparent that a lot of people had been asleep in science class.

Well, in 2025, it’s become quite apparent that they slept through history class, too.

Today as we celebrate
the Reverend Martin Luther King

We must remember he too went to DC but with a wholly different and divine purpose

He filled that space with his goodness his immense love and that’s why he is celebrated

Thank you, Robert Hubbell, for always giving me the daily perspective to *keep on keeping on*!
