The best April Fool's Day trick anyone can pull is being nice to another human being and developing a friendship with them as a joke that continues long into the future so that when you look back on your lives, you think of each other fondly and smile. You know, as a prank.

If you’re a sustainable brand but are having a “whoops we made too much sale”, you’re not a sustainable brand.

One thing that the discussion about making friends as an adult often glosses over is, moreso than just connecting with an individual, the difficulty of connecting to a group.
You either have to break into an existing cohort or, even more challenging, establish a whole new one from scratch.

Got a marketing email for a task management software advertising their new “AI” integration with the headline “Never Open a File Again!“ like it’s a good thing.

All I’m saying is, if Pluto were orbiting Jupiter it would be the fifth most interesting moon of Jupiter.

Want something simple to do right now? Start by cancelling Amazon Prime. There is other media to watch and you don’t need instant parcel delivery. It might seem impossible to live without now, but give it time and you’ll wonder why you ever felt you needed it in the first place.

My favourite thing about magical genres is when there is an importance placed on the study of magic and going to prestigious schooling and then all the lessons are “Concentrate. Concentrate really hard”

I don't think I want a new year this time around, I want a gently used year like a 2015 or maybe a 1998 if it's in good shape idk

It’s a special flavour of embarrassment to ‘like’ the first post at the top of your feed, only to notice it was posted a mere 45s ago. I just happened to log in and see it just now. Im not a stalker I swear!

Hallmark needs to start making Hallowe’en romances. She’s a gal from the big city seeking a new life in a small town. He’s a mysterious horseman cursed to throw his flaming head at passersby for eternity. And when these two meet one night, sparks, and heads, will fly.

We did not plant snapdragons. They are thriving and seem to be unaffected by the weather. Wondering if I should be frightened

Currently being inundated with Black Friday deals for mobility plans by my provider that are way better than my current one but are only for new customers. That’s what I get for being loyal I guess.

If you’re going to be gathering with people over the holidays, you can potentially save your loved ones a lot of pain and grief by doing a rapid test first and staying away if you test positive or feel at all unwell. Missing out is no fun but being the cause of someone else’s illness would be worse!

Have you ever stood under a tree on a windy fall day and tried to catch leaves out of the air? If not, I highly recommend. 10/10 delight.

Yes it’s truly wonderful to have friends where you “haven’t spoken in months but are able to pick up where you left off”, but it would also be nice to have friends who check in somewhat regularly too. Like, send me a meme or something.

Few things more frustrating to the friend who decided to herd the cats together, found an activity everyone agreed upon and is juuust about narrowed in on a date, than the one person who never plans anything piping in with “ooh but what if we did [entirely different plan]” at the last second.
