Hey, everyone. You may have heard that Greg, the cook at the Roberts Cafe, needed foot surgery (which is why they're closed). He could use help with medical expenses. If all of us who have enjoyed a good meal that Greg cooked for us could chip in, it would help him out a lot. gofund.me/e6291813

Although the The Declaration of Independence is nearly 249 years old, it is still germane to current America.
Last night was the 250th anniversary of Paul Revere's midnight ride to warn the Minutemen of approaching British troops.

I want to take a moment to share an excerpt from the Declaration of Independence's grievances against King George III.

Remind you of anyone?

I have a suggestion Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent: Watch and read some local news. Maybe then he’ll find out just how wrong he is about the way retirees are responding to this Trump-induced multi-trillion dollar stock market crash. My latest ⤵️

Remember folks, if you're protesting and someone starts goading you to get violent, they're a cop.

If you get arrested or detained in any way, ask, "Am I free to go?" If they say yes, walk away. No? Shut the fuck up. Don't say anything else without a lawyer.

Good trouble, friends. Get busy.

Nice people made the best Nazis. My mother spent her childhood in Nazi Germany surrounded by nice people who refused to make waves, chose not to focus on politics... They were lovely, kind people who turned their heads as their neighbors were dragged away.
