Julie K. Brown is a reporter for the Miami Herald who did groundbreaking work on Epstein beginning in 2018, including groundbreaking work on the disgusting coverup by Alex Acosta.

Her travel itinerary was released with some of the Epstein files. It appears the DOJ was monitoring her in 2019.

Anti-trans demagogue and fifth place swimmer Riley Gaines earned $470,000+ last year from a conservative non-profit.

Notably, $420k was incentive-based.

A neat little window into the way the transphobic grift is being compensated.

According to the 2024 return, Gaines received just $54,158 in base pay to serve as director of the 501(c)(3) organization’s “Riley Gaines Center,” with a staggering $420,155 (89%) classified as bonus or incentive compensation. By comparison, Davis, as the nonprofit’s chief development officer, received a bonus of a mere $25,131 during the same cycle. Gaines’ incentive compensation was roughly four times larger than any bonus previously disclosed by the Leadership Institute, which no longer appears to have any affiliation with her.

geez idk im sure this is how the paradox source felt about Bloodlines 2 but in same topic the vtmb1 patch dev claims a producer told him Paradox grew unhappy with the agreed upon open rpg approach and suddenly wanted a voiced protag linear action game, which is what chinese room delivered.

I took that to mean the story was set, the game was mostly playable, and technical issues were still being worked on. I can only imagine they first wanted a game similar to Bloodlines and much later a game similar to DXHR or other action games that are not real RPGs anymore. Deleted User writes: I’m not privy to everything and only had a few convos on the subject but it sounds like PDX gave HSL a TONNN of trust. HSL also obfuscated the status of the game until years later. The onus lies on PDX to better oversee development but HSL seems incredibly incompetent to me. Wesp5 That is similar to what the PDX producer told me. He was in Sweden at the time and confessed that they hadn't enough control on what HSL were doing because they were so far apart.

In college, I worked at @CrackerBarrel in Tallahassee. I even gave my life to Christ in their parking lot. Their logo was iconic and their unique restaurants were a fixture of American culture. No one asked for this woke rebrand. It's time to Make Cracker Barrel Great Again
