An 81-year-old Reagan appointee born during World War II has been protecting trans people in federal prison in the face of Trump admin efforts.

Today, Judge Royce Lamberth sided with challengers who sought a class-wide preliminary injunction protecting hormone therapy and social accommodations.
Federal judge protects trans care for federal prisoners, blocking Trump order for now
Disputing Trump's oft-repeated "gender ideology" claims, Judge Lamberth wrote that "the plaintiffs do not seem interested in propagating any particular 'ideology.'"

- Aid stopped in transit.

The world’s poor starving, food rotting & US farmers screwed.

A reminder:

Donald Trump launched this whole TikTok ban as far back as August 2020 when he issued an Executive Order highlighting his concerns about TikTok specifically.

He then ordered ByteDance (TikTok’s parent co) to divest its interest in the operation of the app in the US.

Trump’s no hero.
JUST HITTING THE SCOTUS DOCKET:

In a per curiam opinion, SCOTUS rules that the TikTok ban does not violate the First Amendment.
