Sundays are a day for reflection. I'm honored to have joined @alsobrooks.senate.gov, @booker.senate.gov, & @hakeem-jeffries.bsky.social today to reflect on the moral moment we're in with the Republican budget that wrongly values billionaires and corporations over students and families.

Being with the amazing educators & staff of the Idaho Education Association was my honor. Find your voice! 📢
This is what solidarity looks like! ✊🏻 At today’s Idaho Education Association Delegate Assembly, members wore “Everyone is Welcome Here” shirts in support of Sarah Inama—a sixth-grade teacher facing censorship for creating an inclusive classroom.

Ty Cassi Fenili. We all owe you our gratitude.
From an old campaign manager - i see you! And i thank you. #gofightwin #womenlead
You were the strategist & force. The one behind Susan Crawford historic win!

Campaign Managers rarely get the spotlight, especially women like you who do the work. But today, we’re saying it loud:

This win happened because of you!

We won’t let your work go unrecognized.

Trump is moving to dismantle the Department of Education—a direct attack on our students, educators, and public schools.

We won't let it happen. Congress must reject this extremist agenda. Go to nea.org/pushback and demand your members of Congress reject these attacks on public education.

Instead of stealing taxpayer money to fund private schools, we should focus on public schools—where 90% of children, and 95% of children with disabilities, in America, attend—not take desperately needed funds away from them.

Vouchers have been a catastrophic failure—everywhere. They drain funding from neighborhood public schools, where 90% of students learn, and leave behind those who need support the most. If Trump were serious about helping kids, he'd invest in smaller class sizes, educator pay, and more resources.

Please pay attention to this case being argued in the 4th Circuit tomorrow. It could determine whether the GOP succeeds in stealing a NC Supreme Court seat by disenfranchising 60,000 voters.

Trump's treasury nominee Scott Bessent, who is worth ~$500 million, said extending Trump's tax cuts for the rich is "the most important economic issue of the day."

When asked if we should raise the federal minimum wage above the current paltry $7.25 an hour, he said, "No, sir."

Amazon, Meta, GM, Google, and Microsoft have donated millions to Trump's inauguration.

America's largest corporations and wealthiest executives are showering Trump's inaugural with cash for one simple reason: to ensure they receive another round of trickle-down tax cuts.

As the labor champion in this race, it means the world to receive the endorsement of the four largest public sector unions.

I’ll be a DNC Chair that fights alongside unions as a strategic partner. Together, we’ll unite, fight, and win for workers everywhere.

Solidarity forever.
