More cookies! Gingerbread decorated with royal icing which I've never made or used before. I didn't realise how hard the icing gets, but it's pretty dang good, and it pairs so well with the cookie. 🍽️🍜🍪

Biscochitos! One of my coworkers recommended I make these. Big in the American southwest, these crumbly cookies are shortened with lard, seasoned with anise and orange zest, and coated with cinnamon sugar! They go really well with coffee or tea 🍽️🍜🍪

I skipped day 3 because I didn't technically finish anything last night, BUT, I made two more pies, rolls, and Lima beans while my wife made mashed potatoes and sweet potato casserole! Of course we were so busy in the kitchen I didn't get pictures of it all until it was half gone 😂🍽️🍜
