Novel finally clicked this week. I’d been struggling for a while. I sat there and read it and realized it was overwritten, bloated. I turned 33k works into 20k words and it moves now. It flows. It’s dark as fuck. Let’s get some writing done today. We got this. Have fun.

There are many embarrassing things that can happen to an author. Typos. Formatting. No one comes to a signing. The ultimate, however, has to be when people admit to using A.I. to “write” fiction and believe they have created something. They haven’t. They have pushed a button.
