I feel like one big error in the Monster Hunter community is that it’s not approaching formulas in a manner wherein real life formulaicism ala, the music industry or genre fiction, is taken in an uncritical manner.

X game shouldn’t be like Y game, I think, otherwise we’re doomed.

I’m like a pernicious sort of weird is that my go to for asking help on a subj in smth is like, saying “I seek your council” than “I want your help” and I’d rather not be taken as like, grander than anyone, cuz I dont even see myself that but its just fun to say, so I do.

Being a self-learner for stem is actually rly fun when you gauge papers as the lighter load for a heavier day and continuing with the book that’s being read for a light day, as the heavy load

Foggy Tropical Orbweaver (Eriophora ravilla). By far the most common species of spider I find. They start spinning web after dark and take it down in the morning. If you shine too much bright light at them they will take down their web. #Arachtober #spider #arachnid #macrophotography

I got to visit the Hokkaido Museum’s WHS Northern Jomon Sites exhibition on its last day as a Berfday gift. While my photos are mostly of the pottery, I finally got to see some of the earliest known lacquerware. Now I want to go visit all the sites.

Day 2 of #arachtober

Young Chromatopelma cyaneopubescens (Greenbottle blue tarantula), the same species I used for #inktober today!! These guys are critically endangered in the wild, but breeding efforts in captivity are very successful!

This one was named Calypso by my close friend🕷

Inktober Day 2: Spiders. The small dewdrop spider is often found on the web of much larger spiders - in this case, a golden orb weaver. These little guys feed on smaller prey and perform maintenance on the host spider's web.
