Martian Manhunter 3 was SO GOOD. I feel like this one really leaned into the psychological horror aspect, to excellent effect

Finished Expedition 33.
Not even 10 hours in, I knew it was my GOTY—though I wasn’t sure it was a 10/10. Act 3’s balance issues were the only major blemish, but the sheer boldness of both endings made that easy to forgive. Can’t believe how uncompromising they are.
It’s a miracle this game exists

Finished Expedition 33.

Started reading comics again and I finally got to an Al Ewing book from Marvel, Guardians of the Galaxy (Vol. 6). I’ve only read 5 issues so far but I really love the direction. He isn’t afraid of a wordy internal monologue and it helps these characters and their struggles feel real.

I never played the original games and don't know the story of Cloud and all other members of the party. But when I finished Remake, I was very curious about how they would continue. And as enthusiastic and curious I was then, that is completely missing now. But well, for now this is it, I guess … 🎮
