I'd love to see how many of them would remain car drivers if they had to navigate their Totally Independently Funded roads what with all the pot holes and cracks.

I am, in general, an individualist -- I value my personal freedoms very highly.
At the same time, I could never in a million years take the attitude I see from car drivers, who think the idea of paying a tax in order to offset some of the costs to the public of the roads they use is an outrage.

The sushi rice is the most annoying but if you get either those $1 microwavable rice bowls or learn how to make medium/short grain rice yourself it'll do the trick.
Then it's just a matter of getting some decent tuna or salmon to keep in the freezer, toasted sesame oil and avocado and whatever else
