Are interviewers going to ask them to support their claims of "paid agitators"? Why don't they review the long history of this canard? Here is segregationist Senator John Stennis making an argument about "paid agitators and racial provocateurs" in April 1964, shortly before the CRA's passage.

Day after a man was executed in Minneapolis, Il Douche is whining about halting progress on his Ballroom. I feel like Louise XVI would even be saying that's a bit much.
Trump: “I’m building, on top of everything else that I am doing, one of the greatest and most beautiful Ballrooms anywhere in the World, with more than 300 Million Dollars of Great American Patriots’ money, & working closely with, right from the beginning, the US Military and Secret Service”

Also, may I say that I don’t agree with people saying ICE and CBP need “more training.” They’re doing exactly what this administration has trained them to—impose a reign of fear in blue cities. They don’t need more training. They need to be ripped up root and branch.

Holy crap.

This is the most damning video yet.

It shows Border Patrol agents clearly taking Alex's firearm, running it away, and THEN executed him in cold blood by emptying a clip into his face.

Murder.

Videos analyzed by NYT appear to contradict accounts given by Homeland Security. They said the man approached Border Patrol agents with a handgun and the intent to "massacre" them. Footage of the encounter shows the man holding a phone in his hand, not a gun, when agents take him to the ground.

As JD Vance starts trying to play "nice Gestapo" to Steven Miller's "mean Gestapo," it's worth emphasizing that what's happening in Minnesota is a direct descendant of Vance's knowingly false racist demagoguery during the campaign. "Somalis are low-IQ thieves" is "Haitians are eating your pets."

I would argue that the case for dismantling ICE has, at this point, virtually nothing to do with larger questions of immigration enforcement and reform, it's just clearly incompatible with a free and democratic society to maintain a secret police force with sweeping and arbitrary authority.
Senator Gallego weighs in as well. Note that at the start of 2025 he was considered a *moderate* on immigration and co-sponsored the Laken Riley Act. Him and many other Dems have been increasingly horrified at what ICE is doing and shifted away from a "more enforcement" focus.
