man they really didn't give a shit about that guy. as soon as it was clear they couldn't use his death to launch a purge they started to treat it like a nothingburger
Q: My condolences on the loss of your friend Charlie Kirk. How are you holding up?

TRUMP: I think very good. And by the way, right there you see all the trucks. They just started construction of the new ballroom for the White House, which is something they've been trying to get for about 150 years.

How is it that People magazine’s site was the only outlet with a detailed list of HBCUs that received threats today?
Several outlets are saying 5-6 but it was actually in the neighborhood of 12-13!

There are violent extremists on the left but they are not in charge of the party. You can find them on social media, not in the halls of power.

The violent extremists on the right are in congress, on courts, and sitting in the Oval Office.

you can condemn political violence without asking me to believe that charlie kirk was just an ordinary decent pundit who believed in the liberal project--believed in pluralism, freedom, and equality. he didn't. his whole thing was that he hated those ideas and wanted to destroy them

Acts of political violence aren’t acceptable. Non-political school shootings aren’t acceptable. Sacking the legislature isn’t acceptable. Military occupation of peaceful American cities isn’t acceptable. Abductions conducted in courthouse hallways by masked agents of the state aren’t acceptable.

You know what I've noticed? Nobody panics when things go "according to plan." Even if the plan is horrifying! If two state lawmakers in MN get killed, nobody panics, because anti-Dem violence is normalized. But one GOP podcaster gets shot, well then everyone loses their minds.

I know jumping to politically-advantageous conclusions is just what we do now, but its still striking how many right wing folks have immediately jumped to "violent leftist," as if there hasn't been a sustained, decadelong hate campaign against Charlie Kirk from those to his right.

This Epstein birthday book, which is regrettably online and accessible, would in a normal world compel the resignation and/or arrest of everybody in it. And as of right now, the utter depravity displayed therein is the floor for how bad the details might get.

It was late January 2016, almost a year before the election, when Trump said he could shoot someone on 5th Ave & not lose a vote. He wasn’t the nominee or even a frontrunner

No primaries had been held, not one single vote cast for him or anyone yet.

I’ve always wondered: how did he know that then?

The current president has signed about 200 executive orders since January because he & Republicans in the MAJORITY of Congress are too incompetent to pass laws.

Biden signed 160 executive orders…Total…Inc what reversed harmful things this guy did in the 1st term. Obama averaged only 35-per-year.

it is always worth remembering that vance made a conscious decision to be a person of low character. he has eagerly contorted himself into evil for the sake of what amounts to a whiff of power.
This is an actual exchange from a VP who took an oath to defend the constitution and, as a citizen, is expected to abide by the law.

May we one day have accountability for the grotesque lawlessness of this regime.

This happened in 2019, wasn't disclosed to Congress until 2021, and didn't get reported publicly until today. Dozens of high level government officials were involved and knew.

If they were able to keep it secret for so long, think about how many crimes like this happen that we never hear about.
