There is a lot in the Hesburgh Library Jack Pfefer collection @ rookie Jack Adkisson. My friend Steve Johnson wrote a great article, including My Boy Izzy recommending Fritz to Jack Pfefer in two letters, as well as a couple of letters from FVE himself. Here are some early pics from Pfefer's files.

San Antonio Express from June 8, 1953. This is an anti-TWA/NWA opposition show for Ed McLemore's promoter Bob Kline at the Municipal Auditorium. Kline is fixin to quit the business after a payoff from TWA boss Morris Sigel. Also, when Izzy met Dizzy.

As I said on the podcast, I don't know much about Lee aka Shirley Sigel Carriger. She loved horses, had one daughter, Kim, died young. She was her dad's assistant promoter & was possibly the one family member who did not want Paul Boesch to take over HW. Does she look happy?

Dorathy (Dot) Livengood started in the San Antonio wrestling ticket office in 1930, stayed there until the 80s. Frank Brown found main event success in San Antonio then he married the promoter. He was SA matchmaker f/ 1940s until the 1970s. They owned their building which helped them in 1959 war.

The Epstein story gets a something that is tearing at the heart of the electorate: elite impunity. The idea that wealthy and powerful people can do terrible things *at scale* and face no consequences for them. Whatever political party actually stops it could rule the country for a generation.
