The other night we had a bear visit us, looking for food and the encounter left me feeling very sad.
I watched him through the window & saw this beautiful being who had no idea that his life would probably end soon.
The bear hunt starts in December.😞

There is no place for wildlife anymore 💔

People saying how gruesome they find the Charlie Kirk video are inadvertently confessing that they haven't been watching the footage coming out of Gaza for the last two years. I've seen worse shit TODAY and I haven't finished my morning coffee.

All too often “nature” and “life” are used as bypassing distractions to avoid thinking about “sentient beings”.

Human slavery also "supported livelihoods and the economy."

Perpetual exploitation is not the solution when plant agriculture creates more jobs per acre than beef.

'The Protein PACT' is just an ag industry front group lobbying to keep their violent and unnecessary industry alive.

My comic on the life of a dairy cow is out from behind the hard paywall!

I wrote this as a hopefully definitive answer to a question I've gotten for many years: "What's wrong with dairy?"

Once you really see what dairy is, it's like the scales falling from your eyes

Most people have an inkling that animals have it bad on factory farms and slaughterhouses, but most have no idea that arguably the biggest welfare problem is invisible -- it's the animals' genes: www.vox.com/future-perfe...

Baby orcas get the same media treatment as Palestinian children and police victims.

Their deaths are described passively and headlines are written to obscure the fact that we are starving this population to extinction by damming the rivers and extracting the salmon.

all these flags and you still insist in mocking justice movements. ignoring the struggle for liberation of other animals shows that you don’t care about justice and ending oppression, you just want to be in a higher position within unjust hierarchies.

When I had a violent stalker who would graphically describe how he would have me gang raped, puncture my organs and and break all my bones, I was told the police "couldn't do anything".

Consider this a reminder that they absolutely ✨can✨ do something.

They just don't care about YOU.

A staggering number of chickens are born but never make it into the food supply; they perish at the hatchery, in transport, and on farms. A new Animal Equality report outlines the scope of this problem and how it's even bigger than once thought:
Why 597 million chickens go missing from America’s food supply each year
Chicken giants are pushing birds to their biological limits. A staggering number die but never make it to consumers’ plates.

Veganism challenges the societal norms that perpetuate the exploitation of non-human animals. It’s all about recognizing the ethical implications of our choices and standing against the systems of oppression we've been trained to support.
