My family has no sense of adventure. A few plants get a little bit stabby, and it's time to turn back.

Disgusting
what federal agents did to a father of three Marines while he was cutting grass in Orange County on Sunday has happened in some form daily — and deliberately — all over Los Angeles for 18 days.

Do not come here. I'm sorry to everyone in this industry that it will hurt, but we can't welcome people here. We're not safe. And this administration needs to get to the "find out" phase of their fucking around a little faster.

Last night, I lifted my cat up to show her the Terro Ant Bait surrounded by slain ants. I needed her to know I'm not just letting these jerks swim in her water bowl. I'm the Buffy of the ant world. I am the Chosen One. I am the Slayer.

She was not impressed.

Just noting - Trump is bragging about decorating the Oval Office in gold while telling America's kids to cut down on buying toys.
Trump to Carney: "You see the new and improved Oval Office. As it becomes more and more beautiful with love and 24 karat gold. That always helps too."

Everyone is so understandably angry, but no one seems to care who they hurt with their passion. I am trying to do better, but I'm angry, too.

Des Moines, we'll meet at our neighborhood libraries and then convene at Central. Only kind of joking..

He's also the president who killed things like this.

Turns out Elon Musk’s villainous efforts working for Donald Trump have cost him 25% of his total wealth.

That's one thing to celebrate from the first 100 days.

sure, everything is fine
There are several concentric rings of outrageous bullshit about this, but top of mind is what a cowardly facade Trump is putting on here, almost the antithesis of the heroic unitary executive who lives in John Roberts’ head
Whoa. When asked if he's violating a SCOTUS order, Trump claims lawyers, not he, are making the decision to defy it.

First, Trump isn't the decision maker? Second, he's throwing the lawyers under the bus? Third:

They are all full of shit and Kilmar Abrego Garcia should be home.

If anyone out there was undecided on whether Trump is operationalizing a precise, coordinated plan to destroy our democracy so he can rule until he dies, the move to shut down Act Blue, the primary way Democrats’ campaigns are funded, should be the final proof point.

We picked up trash for the Earth Day Trash Bash. I managed to fall up a hill and on to gravel. I own 4 pairs of hiking shoes, but I was wearing lug sole boots instead. I'm still a 90s girl at heart. A broken 90s girl.
