3/ different pieces fit together. There also seems to be a significant amount of downloading government data onto private servers, etc, totally outside any cybersecurity regime. Additionally it’s unclear to the people inside whether the people doing these things actually work for the US govt…

DEI public favorability continues to be +19.
Pundits are wrong that:
1) DEI is unpopular. It's popular.

Academia is so bad about this in particular. How data is presented is often far more important than we realize.
I'm dead serious: we need to communicate at like an 8th grade reading level. The words "tree equity" should never leave our lips.
This is an interesting case of language overriding substance in determining the ideological valence of an issue because “every neighborhood should have parks and street trees” is the most anodyne statement of environmental justice possible
