The Gilded Age is often on my mind these days.

A fake golden age promised and under delivered by oligarchs who are only really interested in themselves and their legacy.

We survived it once and took our world back from these men. We will do it again.

Cull the Democratic Party. Systematically chip away all the weak, corporate centrists and corrupt, gutless elected officials who refuse to fight and instead suck at the teat of the oligarchy.

These ICE thugs are now going into people's homes if they see immigrant workers, which is illegal by every law on the book especially the 4th amendment of the Constitution.
In Chicago, ICE kidnapped two workers from people's homes while doing remodeling. People are pissed that ICE is doing this.

Bush’s letter feels like it came from another planet - one where political rivals were still countrymen, not enemies. The ink is only 32 years old, but the sentiment might as well be from a century ago.

After years of complaining about cancel culture, the current administration has taken it to a new and dangerous level by routinely threatening regulatory action against media companies unless they muzzle or fire reporters and commentators it doesn’t like.

In the midpoint of the decade, it is crazy that my law firm is currently involved in eight redistricting cases. Even worse, as of today, I expect that will grow to twelve in the next month or so.

Republicans want to make it harder for you to vote and easier for them to cheat.

Not sure who's map this is, but it shows what is left after the intended redistricting of Texas. From 13 to 5, based in 2024 numbers.

For Texans who vote democrat, this is essentially taxation without representation.

To understand what triggered the protests and the unexpected reaction in Ukraine, it’s essential to know the context - especially for those who don’t follow Ukraine’s internal politics.

🧵Thread:

1/ First, the protest isn’t aimed at the President personally, but at a specific law passed yesterday.

With the passage of the latest set of budget cuts, NPR and PBS will see funding slashed. I've set a recurring donation for both and would ask others to do so.
