Nancy Mace on why Nancy Mace isn't a woman.
to whom it may concern: admittedly, I'm not an expert or anything. but nevertheless, I think maybe you should consider *not* running the ball so much when it's 2nd or 3rd and long. just a thought...

Furious Liberals Call for Schumer to Step Aside, Senate Dems Mostly Quiet
After their shutdown surrender, liberal lawmakers are begging their base to unite behind them anyway – as Trumpland celebrates that their opposition is a bunch of 'p*ssies.'

Good that's a movement towards the right direction. Now we need at least 22 more. If you have Democratic Senators who voted NO - call their offices - and ask them to call for Schumer's resignation as the Leader of Senate Dems.
Mark Kelly notably declines to endorse Chuck Schumer as the leader of Senate Dems going forward

I would simply not piss off my base instead of telling my base to shut up after I pissed them off but hey I’m not a senator. (And this is one of the better senators!)
The sooner we get past internal recriminations and back to fighting united, the better off we all are — the likelier our victory next November.

to @schiff.senate.gov & @padilla.senate.gov, as a registered CA Democrat, I am furious about what I'm hearing about y'all selling out my healthcare & hiding who was responsible! the post below summarizes my position: if you don't publicly call for Schumer's ouster, I will assume you were in on it!
Since the Democrats worked extra hard to hide who actually supported this, I think the No Kings/Resistance position should be to primary every Democrat unless they publicly call for Schumer's ouster this week

We’re all trying to figure out who controls the democratic Senate caucus, because that person should resign.
I will not support the Republican bill that’s on the Senate floor because it fails to do anything of substance to fix America’s healthcare crisis.

Watson's racism & sexism were infamous. but this obituary sheds light onto something else: he was essentially an earlier rendition of what's happening now with tech CEOs & pundits who are convinced they're always the smartest person in the room & how this inevitably leads to anti-"PC/woke" brain rot
A Sharon Begley byline, almost 5 years after her death.
Upon hearing the news James Watson had died, a STAT reporter said in our Slack, "I wish I could read what Sharon would have written."
Incredible news: Sharon in fact did pre-write a Watson obit. And it is masterful and excoriating.

👇 THIS has totally backfired. I'm not sure which Senator did what now, but it makes me want to see the entire Dem caucus primary'd. I don't trust a single damned one of them
Important to understand this. There's a reasonable chance that your Dem Senator who voted against it and is acting mad now was in on the play. It's the same reason why they scheduled the surrender for AFTER the election this week. They didn't want people pissed at Dems right before an election.
The caucus meeting was just to orchestrate who would fall on the sword but not be up for a vote in 2026.

Should be pretty clear that without House commitment on a vote on ACA extensions, it is purely symbolic as part of the Senate deal
Q: Will you assure House Democrats they'll get a vote on ACA subsidies by a date certain?
MIKE JOHNSON: Ah -- no. I'm not promising anyone anything.

I called Schiff before he turned voicemail off (which seems to mean it was a purposeful decision. & Padilla's line didn't allow me to leave a message. they best not be among the caving Dem senators
Both @schiff.senate.gov and @padilla.senate.gov have voice mail turned off stating “the office is closed.”
Cowardly dipshits. That’s what voice mail IS FOR!!!!

Call your senators. I don’t care if they’re Republicans, or if a deal has already been reached. Call them anyway, and let them know exactly what you think of what’s happening. Don’t give them a moment’s peace to forget the blood on their hands.

Anyway a great way to radicalize people is for them to realize that you just abandoned their chance at being able to access and afford health care because you didn’t like waiting in line at the airport.

I'm hearing the same thing. Dems are nearing a surrender. I'm shocked. Largest protest in history + best election night in years + polling showing we're kicking their ass in public opinion. And now Dems may cave.
It ain't over til it's over, so please do call if you've got a Dem senator.

Sounds like the squishes in the senate caucus are ready to pull the plug with no ACA changes. This is real. If you want to register your opinion you shld call yr senator in the next hour. They not only want to reopen w/nothing. They want cover from their colleagues who still want to hold out.
