We built something: an open, liberal society that promised people could feel safe and protected no matter who they were. It wasn’t perfect but we were slowly making it better. It was prosperous almost beyond comprehension. And now these monstrous bigots and criminals are burning it down for fun.

For years, Griffith defenders would pull out the "ARE YOU CALLING DAINTY LILLIAN GISH A LIAR????"
And I avoided the conflict and hemmed and hawed.

I am going to put on my auntie pants now & say that if you are dealing with a lot & simply trying to survive day-to-day, please survive. Live. Possibly out of spite, just to spit in their eyes when this is all over. Whatever motivates you, keep going & those who can fight the fight will fight. 💚👊🏻
