I wish the world was better to us but we really got dragged into hell and I can only speak from that. Gen X and Elder Millies was raised by mostly boomer and silent generation sociopaths. It was the best of times and the worst of times but some great fucking music came from it

I think one of the things I enjoy most about cats is the hypocrisy. The way they're batshit crazy and zoom round the house ripping things off shelves and playing with anything they can find. Then you throw them a toy and they sit there calmly and look at you like you're mad as it bounces off them.

This Christmas, stop buying people shit they have to find a place in their house for…offer to pay a bill, or give money towards a bill, or get them grocery store giftcards.

This was something that really hit me as I was losing my mom…what a blessing it was to have someone listen/care about all the little minuscule shit I talked to her about daily. 😞
I'm in the process of losing a parent and I keep thinking what a blessing it's been to have two people always ready to drop what they were doing to listen to, and take an interest in my Bullshit my whole damn life
