‘The abc has aired another interview riddled with falsehoods to deceive voters’

‘The crisis was reported as happening today –when, in fact it was several years ago – well before the Albanese Govt implemented the poverty-reduction measures’

Bringing my pinned Tweet along with me as I migrate here because this still matters & because we cannot normalize what Trump intends to do to DOJ. Justice should never be a political tool for presidents & their pals.

Until abortion is legal in every state, lets require men to get a mandatory vasectomy until they are proven emotionally mature, financially responsible and ready to be a father.
Wait, what do you mean regulations on men's bodies make you uncomfortable?

Ethics inform all actions. Don’t they? Political opinions on the other hand are a free for all. Often devoid of ethics.

The "oof" thing today around the social media bill, is that I haven't seen so many disparate parts of the left united against something for a long time - from professional fields of IT, governance, privacy, opsec, law, politics, human rights, even corporate cons. This group never agrees on anything.

Peter Costello and John Howard should note that sovereign wealth funds now typically consider national policy objectives in their decisions Follow our Australia news live blog for latest updates Get our breaking news email, free app or daily news podcast The announcement by the treasurer, Jim Chalmers, that Australia’s Future Fund would be directed to invest in areas of national priority, rather than pursuing a purely commercial investment strategy, has drawn a strong reaction from Peter Costello and John Howard who established the fund in 2006. The ferocity of this reaction is a reminder of how much the world has changed since that time. The fund was established at the high point of neoliberalism, initially using the proceeds of the privatisation of Telstra. The worship of financial markets, and the disdain for public ownership of any kind was at its peak. The guiding principle was the “efficient markets hypothesis” which, in its strongest form, states that the asset prices prevailing in financial markets are the best guide to the returns available to any investment, public or private. Last year, when I was at MSNBC, I did a 10-minute deep-dive into RFK Jr's anti-vaxxer role in the measles outbreak that killed dozens and dozens of kids in Samoa.

I hope every Senator voting in his confirmation process for HHS knows about this crucial and awful story:
