Saturday morning walk pre Power Boat Grand Prix which starts at 9am.

Very windy on the water so we need to see that settle down or the boats will be airborne.

The boats are small about 3m in length.

Rubbish. No statehood for Palestine unless it is demilitarised, elections and no Hamas. And no conditions on Israel. The West Bank provided all of this but land has been annexed, road blocks imposed and arbitrary arrests/ deaths et al 😡
A highly coordinated international strategy on Gaza is now unfolding
Canada's move to join France and the United Kingdom by signalling it will recognise a Palestinian state reveals more about the highly coordinated international strategy on Gaza that now involves both ...

To add,

To ACTUALLY act as a 'deterrent', the ENTIRE point is to secretly park them off China's coast. That's what they do. Hit us with nukes, we hit you with ours, little or no warning.

Except,

Neither the Virginia (US) or Astute (UK) Class subs carry them.

Also, AUSTRALIA HAS NO NUKES

🙄
Note to Australia regarding AUKUS submarines. Much of the rest of the world is going autonomous.
💬 #Russia will reinforce its Black Sea Fleet with marine robotic systems, warships, and additional aircraft, Nikolai Patrushev, the head of Russia's Maritime Collegium, said 🤭

A disabled woman, limited English, was cut from welfare for 6 MONTHS due to comedy of errors starting with private, $1.3bn job service 'provider' and ending with govt getting their law wrong. Six days after she appealed, dept acted. To protect themselves. www.thesaturdaypaper.com.au/news/law-cri...
Exclusive: Welfare cancellations paused after tribunal complaint
The employment department quietly stopped welfare cancellations after a complaint from a disabled woman – but did not intervene in her case, which she won six months later.

Louise has long done great work advocating for child abuse victims. Powerful critics would no doubt call her an activist in a bid to smear/discourage her. Starvation in Gaza isn’t left vs right - it’s facts, evidence and breaches of international law that too many chose to ignore for 18 months
I’m not an activist, but as someone who reports on people who are, I see some activists sneering at people who are late to a cause they’ve fought hard for. Surely the point of activism is pitching to the centre to make change? Not alienating or mocking those whose minds you surely wanted to change?
