in a sane world this brings down the administration, but it's just Monday right now
President Trump’s housing finance director, Bill Pulte, fired internal watchdogs at Fannie Mae who were looking into multiple complaints against a high-ranking company officer close to him, according to people familiar with the matter.

Didn’t know I still had headroom to get even more appalled, but this’ll do it. When we spun the elections desk back up at MTV in 2015, Teen Vogue was the standard. They’ve BEEN the standard, this entire time.
I was laid off from Teen Vogue today along with multiple other staffers, and today is my last day.

certainly more to come from me when the dust has settled more, but to my knowledge, after today, there will be no politics staffers at Teen Vogue.

They’ve had their necks kneeled on.

They’ve been held outside in the rain while in their underwear.

No.

Still no.

STFU, No.

Because evil MAGA apparatchiks need you to fear that he will.

Why Has Trump Been Flirting With a Third Term?
Trump cannot be president again. But he and his loyal followers have every reason for wanting to make people think he can.

Lots of local grocery stores are going to be hit extremely hard by this. (Walmart will be fine, don't cry for them.)
Every dollar spent on SNAP generates between $1.50 and $1.80 for local economies.

Even if you don’t care about poor people (which you absolutely should), you should care about the entirely self-inflicted negative economic impact this is going to have
i know these people are too stupid to realize it but snap benefits and food assistance actually take money from
the federal government, pass it through real people to feed them, and then that money ends up in the local economy and farms. it’s exactly the kind of thing you want to happen!
