This NYT-driven nonsense bugs me every time I see it. Let's set the record straight (again).

Our DEI office was *very* effective.

thread
We did not "cave" on DEI. The decision to reimagine DEI as something different and more effective was made in October. Our DEI department was ineffective, did not improve outcomes across the University. We spent a lot of taxpayer and tuition money and it..didn't work. That's okay!

Also, a woman was handcuffed at a subway station in NYC (Franklin Ave) when she intervened asking why a delivery man was asked to show work permit by undercover agents. There is a video of that.

This is *extremely* alarming — White House fires a career federal prosecutor because he (1) went after a politically connected businessman and (2) criticized Trump during a 2020 congressional bid.

“White House fires a career prosecutor” is itself unprecedented.

NEW: Porsha Ngumezi is the fifth case we've reported on in which a woman died after not receiving a D&C or its second-trimester equivalent in time, or at all.

Her case raises questions about how abortion bans are pressuring doctors to avoid standard care even in straightforward miscarriages.

If you want to know why the populations of the country's most desirable areas are perversely falling rather than rising, "families with kids are getting priced and evicted out" is the reason.
Babies and toddlers in the U.S. are disproportionately at risk of eviction, a new study found. And the risk is acute for Black children and their mothers, ages 20 to 35. nyti.ms/46AekF0
