I remember when I was a teenager reading George Carlin being asked who was his hero and him responding he doesn’t waste his time looking up to people. That always stuck with me.
I want to lay down a few markers here for folks as the clock starts ticking down to the release of the Epstein Files.

1) You are going to learn about a lot more disgusting and sickening things people said, joked about and maybe even did. You will likely be disappointed in someone you had admired

Was in a work meeting for an hour and a half on Friday about choosing a plan. I’m thankful to have insurance through a government job but still have to do research about what plan works best for me.
Dr. Oz is clearly a moron who, incredibly, doesn't understand anything about how the insurance system works.

But also: Conservatives genuinely believe that people want to spend endless hours "choosing the insurance that's best for them." They don't. They want good, secure health care. It's simple.
Dr Oz: "If you had a check in the mail, you could buy the insurance you thought was best for you"

Count the ways they’re corrupting DOJ: Presidents don’t direct AG’s to open criminal cases, especially ones designating only Dems for investigation when POTUS himself is involved. DOJ doesn’t publicize criminal investigations & the AG definitely doesn’t assign them on Twitter.

I find it both hilarious and infuriating that BOTH Ken Starr and Bill Clinton are tied to Jeffrey Epstein.

Not every idea is worth airing. Not every point of view is worth hearing. Not everything that "a lot of people believe" should be credentialed by homepage space. Would the NYT editorial board run "Did Homosexuals Ruin Culture?" or "Did Black People Get Too Big for Their Britches?" I guess we'll see.

Aw, fuck
Besides linking Tylenol in pregnant women to autism, RFK Jr. now says circumcision is part of the reason why kids are autistic.

"Children who are circumcised early have double the rate of autism, and it's highly likely because they're given Tylenol. None of this is positive..."

I don't think Andrew Cuomo has any core beliefs beyond his desire to have power and authority, and to do whatever he wants with that power and authority.

what Democrats need to understand is that these are not judicial confirmations in the traditional sense—the only people Trump is sending to the bench are people who will further his corruption and backstop his anticonstitutionalism; voting to advance any Trump appointee is fucking madness
and yet still, TODAY, Democrats in the Senate are voting in favor of Trump's judicial nominees
