Aw man, RIP George Altman. After appearing with the 1955 Kansas City Monarchs, he finally made the majors in 1959 with the Cubs. He was an All-Star in 1961 (.303, 27 HR, 96 RBI) and 1962 (.318, 22 HR, 74 RBI, 19 SB). He hit 101 homers in a 9-year career. He was 92 years old.
