Getting prison leavers into work

In the last 12 months over 300 top businesses have joined the government's recruitment initiative to take on prison leavers.

For those with sentences of 12 months or more, employment rates after 6 months have so far risen to an all time high of 38%.

As with all the daily dramas that play out in our media, the PM’s damned if does, he’s damned if he doesn’t. Also, having so-called print journalists and pundits on studio news discussions is just more guaranteed drama-making instead of expert, fact-based discussion. It’s exhausting and unhealthy.
