I keep hearing the assertion that we have a deficit of STEM grads but this isn't remotely true. The relentless campaign to make K-12 and higher ed about STEM and nothing else - fueled by made-up stats - means we have too many STEM grads

This is incredibly painful because five generations of my family have subscribed to the LATimes going back 100 years and I still have friends who work there. But this paper is effectively dead until Soon-Shiong sells. Give your money to Pro Publica instead.
