I know a few people who have trump's days golfing as their big thing they hate and I'm just like

Y'all if this is how bad it is with him out of the office 25% of the time imagine how bad it would be if he wasn't ever out of the office.

This is absolutely worth the read.

I don't know when exactly I started feeling like there was some fight left in our tank, but I've been noticing it for a few weeks now.

I'm glad somebody else sees and feels it too.
The ICE raids, the Guard deployments, the fear — it’s all real.
But I can’t shake the feeling that Trump pushed too far too fast.
People are waking up. Judges are pushing back.
Maybe this isn’t the end of democracy — maybe it’s the moment it remembers to fight back.

Honestly really bummed to hear about The Leonardo closing in SLC. I know that building was way past its lifespan, but damn that museum was cool. Big loss for Utah's museum community.

I don't understand the "activist judges" claim in re: Prop 4 and #utpol - the GOP has had full authority to nominate and confirm every single judge in the fucking state - how is this some 'liberal conspiracy'?

This one is required reading for all of my #utpol and #utdem folks.

This fissure has been growing for years and is what I think primarily motivates the shift in Davis and Utah counties.

Mike Lee Can’t Stop Throwing Social Media Grenades. His Church Isn’t Happy.
The Utah senator’s online persona has further damaged his already frayed relationship with The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

I don’t know who needs to hear this today, but:

Ballot measures are almost certainly going to be the only way (outside of redistricting!) that Utah can harness some of its natural progressive populism to the point of a party power shift.

Saw @nateforutah.bsky.social on KSL earlier.

I'm very glad somebody said that the current problem isn't a both sides problem out loud. Many thanks 🙏

Apparently getting called out for thinking the disability caucus should be renamed is equal to a personal attack now?

I don't think I've ever seen my wife in more pain than during her IUD insertion appointment.

It's about time they did something here.
New guidelines urge doctors to “not underestimate the pain experienced by patients” during the IUD insertion procedure and outlined a range of pain management options. nyti.ms/4ktIOjf

I really think Americans are just gonna call him “Pope Bob” for the foreseeable future.

Leo is gonna be the equivalent of like his “Vatican government name” or something.

Since 2011 or so, Hungary has been what is known as a “hybrid regime”—not a totalitarian dictatorship, but not a real democracy, either. Is the same thing happening in the U.S.?
