It took my wife over 15 years of intense research and advocacy to find the specialists who could diagnose her EDS, heart and lung diseases and other issues that torment her daily. We can't move from this area now lest we start that process over. This system sucks.

So... we all saw this coming right? The combination of bespoke LLMs feeding the biases of those who demand it. The search for any overlapping methodological or epistemic common ground is looking increasingly bleak.

The latest Cloudflare and Amazon outages have got me thinking about utilities. We can't build modern software without dependencies. The days of running entirely on the client are over, which I see as a good thing. The cost is that we rely on infrastructure.

My dream last night featured a pet octopus that escaped its tank and was hiding in puddles in the back yard. As I was frantically searching for it, a marching band came through the fence and I was even more panicked they would stomp on my octopus.

It is Friday. Per feedback from last weekend's debacle we ask that everyone respect the queue. There is no "saving your place" and no late arrivals are allowed to join an acquaintance past the end of the line. Further, we are forced to enact a strict age limit for the FUN CORNER. 18+, ID required.
