Bear cambium feeding sign. They strip away large sections of bark, often leaving it hanging in strips, then they use their incisors (front chisel-shaped teeth) to scrape the tasty layer from the exposed trunk.

Turkey would be my take on these. Herron have a long backward facing toe. Crane fits better, but their outside toes point more outward than forward.
I am no birdologist but these are some pretty big tracks in the snow in my driveway today. Western MA. Google lens says Great Blue Heron seems out of season? Anybody care to disagree with the almighty AI? Footprint is size 11 for scale
