I definitely feel I'm Jokerfying. You look one way and you've got 4 different Beavis-Snokes deleting every third grandpa from social security and in the other it's an economy currently hinging on the success of the least profitable software product of all time that is also destroying the earth.

they are mostly targeting black employees so this is quite literally just a repeat of woodrow wilson’s segregationist purge of the federal government
Federal health workers are expressing fear and alarm after a website called “DEI Watch List” published the photos, names and public information of a number of workers across health agencies, describing them as “targets.”

it's pretty funny that among all of this ominous news happening about elon gaining access to the treasury payment payment system, everyone is still respecting the weekend and waiting until tomorrow for the government to "open"

NEW: Sources tell my office that Treasury Secretary Bessent has granted DOGE *full* access to this system. Social Security and Medicare benefits, grants, payments to government contractors, including those that compete directly with Musk's own companies. All of it.

Do you know why a president would do all the most evil and heinous shit via Executive Order? Because his party can't easily make it law. And if they can't make it law, they can't make it last.

Don't let anyone make you feel like this is The End. Do not let them demoralize you. Live to see them die.

The answer to whether Biden's presidency will be considered a failure or if history will pass a kinder judgment is that it absolutely does not matter and you need to get out of the loser mindset of things like being vindicated by "history." Politics is about power and outcomes. It's not a TV show.

resign, you disgraceful, unreliable, and untrustworthy geriatric loser
It is time to look to the future.

The challenges that face America are many and great.

The Senate must respond with resolve, bipartisanship, and fidelity to the working and middle class of this country.

Trump has repealed a Biden executive order mandating ethical behavior from administration employees.

The order told federal workers to:
-Not accept gifts from lobbyists
-Not take other bribes
-Not lobby for two years after government work
-And more

Now those rules are gone.

Twitter, Meta, and Tiktok are all state media now. They will suppress and censor narratives, beliefs, and views opposed by the administration.

Act accordingly. www.bbc.com/news/article...

they're gonna reinstate tiktok, they're just working on the backdoor access for the state department to be able to do exactly what they lied about china doing. the dems giving that win to trump will be an incredibly inevitable and deserved self-own

Hundreds of L.A. landlords have hiked rents on desperate people fleeing the wildfires.

Landlords for at least 400 properties appear to have ignored the law and the warnings of California's Attorney General and illegally raised rents since the fires began.

Hundreds of L.A. landlords hike rents to capitalize on 'desperate' fire evacuees
Price hikes of more than 10% are illegal during a state of emergency. But that hasn't stopped landlords seeking to profit from the L.A.'s ongoing disaster.

thinking moreso youtube shorts since it's a vert video scrolling platform that's monetized and has a creator userbase vs a writer/blogger one. since tiktokers generally hate twitler and now likely instagram in the coming months, bluesky could grow into what threads is but with even more image/videos
Anyone think the tiktok ban will create a huge growth in users on here?

Re: LAFD Budget

Seeing City officials in the press ignore the severe impacts of these budget cuts, especially the ones covering for their poor budget decisions to cut a majority of departments' budgets & even AFTER Chief Crowley told them about the impacts these cuts have had, is DISGRACEFUL.

scrolling twitter about the LA fires just reminds you how so many people live in a completely separate, soulless, contradictory reality. they are so miserably pathetic and wrong about nearly every basic thing
