The highlight was the office/bookshop of the Flemish Esperanto League. Lovely to meet some local speakers and buy a good haul of reading material.

Reading 'Climate Obstruction: A Global Assessment' now. Strange to see calls for a just transition framed this way. There are real dependencies and real workers involved. What does "foster fear about the socioeconomic consequences" mean when the fears are indeed real?

An aside: journalism exists in an attention economy where demand drives editorial decision making. If you find something you enjoyed, learned from and that moved you, share and share widely -- even four days late. I, and others, don't get to keep doing this stuff if no one reads it.
This piece is so good that I feel weird and kind of gross for both discovering it four days after the fact and sharing it after midnight.
But anyway this is an exceptionally affecting piece of writing and @roycerk2.bsky.social is a very good journalist.

Ĉi-semajna trovaĵo: probable la plej frua longdaŭra diskego en Esperanto (eĉ pli frue ol "Ni Kantu en Esperanto"), kaj laŭ mia scio la unusola 10"-diskego en la lingvo. Temas pri "Litovaj Popolaj Kantoj kaj Dancoj" el 1961 - tri kantoj tradukitaj en Esperanton kaj ses instrumentaj pecoj.

Ĉi-semajna trovaĵo: probable la plej frua longdaŭra diskego en Esperanto (eĉ pli frue ol "Ni Kantu en Esperanto"), kaj laŭ mia scio la unusola 10"-diskego en la lingvo. Temas pri "Litovaj Popolaj Kantoj kaj Dancoj" el 1961 - tri kantoj tradukitaj en Esperanton kaj ses instrumentaj pecoj.

Mi nur prenis kelkajn jarojn de intermitaj klopodoj, sed mi ĵus atingis la mezpunkton de La Granda Kaldrono. Eble pro mia pliboniĝada regado de la lingvo, sed mi pli kaj pli ĝuas la libron lastatempe kaj pli kaj pli rapide traglitas ĝin.
