When walking back from a friend’s house last night, I saw this as the state of the transit center at 39th and Troost. I get that this is at 10pm on a Friday, but can the KCATA provide trash cans? Can they make the building attractive for customers? Can they be a good neighbor to me and my neighbors?

Lots of people driving the wrong way down the one way streets this morning downtown in their suburbatanks. I would love to see a vent diagram of this crowd and the “I don’t go downtown crowd” because of parking.

When the Beyond the Loop study was underway in 2017-18, KCK officials opposed the plan. Today those officials are gone, and new leadership is interested in reimagining I-70.
KCK's mobility plan actually talks about the future of the North Loop and how they might reimagine or repurpose their portion of I-70 in response to North Loop removal.

Please note that “BRT light” was not studied in this example and and based on how RideKC BRT is designed, would not contribute to the decrease in crashes observed in the Albuquerque example. We would need to actually be serious about the region’s BRT infrastructure to start to see these results.

Fare-free transit is not an environmental policy. The reason is simple: It doesn't reduce driving.
