Science x Philosophy in the best possible way 🤩 @assc28.bsky.social #assc28 #philsci
Generally, an *excellent* symposium with @iberent.bsky.social , Clara Colombarto and @davidchalmers.bsky.social. Wonderful talks and discussions by all speakers 👏👏👏 #ASSC28
@matanmazor.bsky.social is giving now one of the best talks I’ve heard at ASSC meetings, suggesting that dualists are perceived as warmer and more ethical than physicalists, and that this might drive dualistic intuitions. Brilliant!!! #ASSC28

My favourite talk @assc28.bsky.social was just delivered by @matanmazor.bsky.social showing that dualists are warmer 💕 @ronyhirsch.bsky.social #assc28

#ASSC28 provides a great overview of various methods, tasks and measures used to study consciousness. Yet as a result, integrating empirical studies is challenging. On 9/7, 9:40 (Philosophy session) I will present a novel task ontologies approach aiming to address this issue @assc28.bsky.social

Waarom staken we? #DoeHetNiet.

I am touched by Daniel Dennett’s obituary. My work derives its entire raison d'etre from him, and now he's gone. I will always regard his curiosity, open mind, modesty and kindness as ideals to continue to strive for, as a human being and as a scientist
