As a Brit, who hates everything this world is becoming, I confess I love to see this. What utter chaotic disaster. I bet Farage is eyeing up Downing St, Whitehall, even Buck House right now. I honestly don't care about big old buildings, I do care about spending unnecessary $$$ on new buildings.
Wake up, babe, the least subtle visual metaphor in history just dropped

Offending cat and nice cat. And yes that's a mid century vintage floor, there's a lot of work happening here

Unless you're my cat. Then "hisssss" is the only way to communicate this. I discovered after she bit the inside of my wrist rather hard that she doesn't like me growling at her very much. But she hates the 'hiss' the power screwdriver makes because she can see it's not me doing it.

I've been reading a lot about new treatments, testing, amd research in ME, fibromyalgia, hEDS, and endometriosis lately. And lots about interactions between the different conditions I have. Apparently coeliac is common in people with endometriosis for example. Having a tough flare up of endo atm 🤕

Aha so my great great grandmother's sister who's workhouse infirmary records mention rheumatism could indeed have had the same condition as me. Fibromyalgia used to come under rheumatism as a catch all. fibrowarrior.co/the-history-...

You sometimes hear fibromyalgia referred to as a “fad diagnosis” or “new disease,” but the truth is that fibromyalgia is far from new. It has centuries of history, with multiple name changes and disca...

Yep feeling that today. Woke up fairly ok, bit achey, but then endometriosis pain out of nowhere and suddenly couldn't do anything. Went to lie down and it went away, but... exhaustion, ended up sleeping, and I'm still exhausted now. So, ugh.

Story of my marriage coming soon...

And people try and ask me why I think I'm disabled? This ⬇️ alone is a full time job let alone having cptsd, fibro, and endometriosis on top. My journey now is about exploring how to REALLY look after myself. I definitely overdid things yesterday, so resting today

An embroidery I bought a couple of years ago, but had to leave behind because of recent events. I took a photo so I can remember this quote:

"If it is inaccessible to the poor it is neither radical nor revolutionary"

Lol, no indeed. But there is bed and sometimes that is enough. Also, adults are allowed to have soft toys to cuddle
The big problem with being an adult is that there’s no nurse’s office to go to when you just need a little break from it all

Earlier this year I planted nasturtiums and I've been enjoying watching them grow. In all my darkness I had these beautiful pops of bright cheerful colour. And they're clearly trying to escape like I was so it was like they were showing me the way.

I'll plant nasturtiums again in my new garden 🧡

I used to wonder if all the chaos was because in a-level art I broke a mirror for my friend to use in her self portrait because she was superstitious. But then the chaos continued way past 7 years so maybe it's because I didn't forward the chain letters 😉

Hi, long time no post, lot been going on. I've left my husband and now I'm in a different country. I'm starting a new project soon... less politics, more figuring stuff out and learning how to live here

I want to see non-disabled people shouting about the disability benefit cuts. If you spoke out about trans rights, abortion rights, or migrant rights in recent weeks? Good on you! If you aren’t doing the same for disabled people, ask yourself why.

2 weeks and 1 day after breaking/not breaking my arm (various medical people in disagreement about that) I've just pulled a load of weeds out of the front flower bed. Couldn't do the last 3 because they needed 2 hands, but managed the rest. No sling, just balance. I'm getting there.

I remember going into a photography shop and paying £5 for a photographer to take a photo for my passport, walking me through exactly how to position myself and hold my face. Now I do it with my phone and keep getting refused by the government website because my photo isn't good enough.

1/3 Visas for care workers. Yes there's a problem, yes something needs to be done. But as we keep seeing Starmer is proposing completely the wrong thing to do about it. The issue is companies bringing workers in on visas when they don't have a licence to operate as a care company yet.

I broke my arm 2 weeks ago. It was a nice sunny day, I'd had coffee with a friend, and I was walking home through the park. TLDR I fell in the park and landed on my wrist. The MIU guy ordered xrays of the wrong part of my arm! The fracture was found a week later because I happened to ask a physio...

Exactly, this is what I was looking for in the speech. Nothing. No recognition that Covid, years of Austerity, and a future with an ever increasing lack of jobs due to AI are the cause of so much mental poor health amongst the young
This image is so real.

I've just been looking at the NHS 111 Planned Care site for my health board. I was referred to Oral surgery last autumn, 1st appointment is next month. This page says that appointment should have been in 6 weeks. That's not even fudging the statistics. That is outright lies.
