I may be tired and a little hoarse, but as I said again and again on the Senate floor, this is a moment where we cannot afford to be silent, when we must speak up.

Well done @booker.senate.gov, longest speech in Senate history telling the truth about the nightmare that is Trump 👏👏👏

So sad to hear that Christina McKelvie MSP has died.

We met many times on the campaign trail and, despite being in different parties, I genuinely enjoyed the chance to have a chat and a laugh. I'll miss election night catchups.

Sincerest condolences to family, friends and colleagues in the SNP.

The story being circulated that Anas Sarwar slagged of Billy Connolly is such obvious fake news that's it's a depressing insight into how gullible or dishonest some people are.

One of the many positives about Scottish Labour conference was the opportunity to stand up for trans people.

We have more work to do, in our party and in our communities, to protect and progress LGBT rights. #ScotLab25

Grateful to party members for taking a stand, calling for a fair compensation scheme. Waspi women deserve justice.

Anas Sarwar and Jackie Baillie are steadfast supporters of the campaign, as we should be. I will stand up for my constituents and work with colleagues to fight for justice.

I won't be reading or reposting anything from The Guardian while the strike continues
Why are we striking?
Our owners says the sale is “necessary”. But the Observer is a successful part of the Guardian family

The deal has been done in secret and without considering other bids

Our owners have a £1.3bn fund & a duty to protect liberal journalism - why not invest?
